Congratulations on your print sale, Ken! It is interesting to read about the history and your connections with this accordion. Lovely colors and detail!

Thanks Eve! This is definitely my favorite from the Accordion series.

Thank you very much Kim!

nice...crisp, clean with a simple (well, maybe not so simple) subject. I really like this.

Ken Powers replied:

Thank you Eunice! This small accordion series was a lot of fun. One of them ended up on the album cover of a traditional Irish folk album by Dan Possumato while this particular one is owned by the accordion player for the Celtic rock band "The Mighty Regis." These have been popular pieces for me. Fun stuff!

I particularly love all your musical instruments. This accordian is the centerpiece in Cajun music down here in Louisiana! Thank you for all your comments. You are also talented in choosing words to express yourself! Thanks

Love this! Wish I still had the one my mom taught me lessons on. That was ages ago!

All right Ken... it's no surprise that your watercolors sell so well. Each piece isn't just a purchase but an investment in a masterpiece. Two thumbs up to the purchaser and congratulations to you Ken. Superb watercolor.

Congratulations on your sale, Ken!

Great art work. Love it. Would you like to take a look at my paintings? I have done a conceptual painting on obama.

Easy to love this painting!

I like your composition for this piece Ken, very well thought out. Superb work my friend! . ..........Joe

Great work as always, I love the change from steal to harmony...

Yes, very nice piece. Nothing "stunning" in the piece, yet it's simplicity and simple rendering makes it "stunning". Balanced, interesting composition. I guess in a European, Old World sort of way, the small hand-accordion that Stromboli uses in Walt Disney's "Pinocchio", is a 'button accordion'.

This is fun. I like the shadow.

Both thumbs up! :)

Very nice and lovely!

Ken - another fine piece of art - your musical instruments are just superb! I really like the soft muted colors in this one.
