Watercolor behaves very differently on this very smooth paper. It does not soak in, it sits on top of the paper. The colors continued to blend and interact until they were completely dry. Turning the paper as it dried created the edges of the shapes.
This reminds me of times when I enjoyed solitude at lake cabins in Minnesota. I almost left out drawing altogether from this one but I wanted to express how I see those shapes as a dreamlike part of nature.
