Cabins at Lake Crescent Lodge in BW Sepia
Fine Art Photo by Connie Fox
Black-and-white sepia tint of the charming cabins, including several original structures, that comprise part of the Lake Crescent Lodge complex. The lodge is an historic resort situated on the shores of Lake Crescent, west of Port Angeles, on the north shore of the state of Washington.
One of the most famous guests of the lodge was President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who stayed in one of the cabins that has since been demolished. Several new cabins were built in the style of the original ones that date to the early 1930s.
In addition to several original cabins, the lodge itself is original, as are the beams of the pier. Please see my Washington and Port Angeles albums for other images of Lake Crescent, the lodge, pier, and surrounding area. This photographer recommends it as a wonderful vacation destination that should include a ferry ride to Victoria, B.C., Canada, and all that it offers too.
