I painted this on a trip to Cabo san Lucas -- the southernmost point of Baja California. It is called "Land's End" and "El Arco" for the natural arch.

At low tide there is a small beach under the arch. I added two dolphins leaping and, to draw the viewer into the scene, a kayak with footprints leading under the arch. Wouldn't you want to be there?

This peaceful scene would grace any office or home. The original mixed media painting (11 x 14, oil paint and acrylics) is now SOLD but a print on canvas would be great, and this would make a wonderful gift.

I am a self-taught artist and have been painting in oils for many years. At the same time my photography has developed following the same principles of composition and color. Much of my work has a "save the environment" theme and my inspiration comes from nature and visions of light and color. My interest in art began in the 5th grade with a remarkable teacher who, along with all the other subjects, made time for art and music every day.
