This was taken in my garden in Fort Myers, Florida.
The Rudbeckia flower is one of America's most favorite wildflowers and is the state flower of Maryland. The bright, yellow-gold petals lure a variety of butterflies, bees and other pollen/nectar-loving insects, to their conical center.
