This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
This is the street that enters the village of Alhabia, Almeria, Spain and it leads into the main square, Plaza de la ConstituciĆ³n, which is dominated by the church. Like many of the little towns of La Alpujarra Almeriense, the main streets and squares are lined by fine buildings dating from a more prosperous age when oranges, grapes, olive oil, ceramics and mining brought wealth to the region. I found this a very difficult subject. Getting the perspective right was not easy and it was difficult to judge how much detail to include as I did not want to overwork the painting. I scrapped my first two attempts but finally produced this finished watercolour.
I sell my paintings to collectors all over the world and am happy to quote for the original of this watercolour, including shipping direct to your home

About Margaret Merry
Born in Chelmsford, England. I grew up in Falmouth but lived and worked as an artist in Truro from 1970 until I moved to Spain. In 2002 I moved to Spain and now live in a cortijo near Alhabia, Almeria, Southern Spain. The scenery around my home provides endless, beautiful subjects for landscape and seascape painting and I get inspiration from the dramatic landscapes of Andalucia and the old cities, towns and villages which I usually paint in watercolour. I am also interested in portraiture, dance and figure studies and my preferred medium for these is soft pastel. I have shipped my paintings all over the world and will...
