About Mike Parrish
After a very enjoyable professional career as a lawyer and as an administrative law judge, I am now for all practical purposes retired from the practice of law. I live about 10 miles out of town on seven acres, about half of which is a dense mixture of native pine and hardwoods and half in fields and gardens with a small area that includes a dozen or so mature citrus trees. The property borders on a large lake and several large windows in a spacious house look out at gardens designed to attract butterflies, birds, and small animals. Deer occasionally wander across our property and we enjoy watching them except when they wander into the gardens and start eating flowers and leaves on the flowering plants.
