Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

About Marlene Johnson
Marlene was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She always had a love for art but it was not until her children were grown that she started taking classes and really got involved in painting. In 1990 she and her husband moved to Spokane, WA. In time she started teaching both adults and children. She has won many awards in various shows and at the Spokane Interstate Fair. She also demonstrated painting at the Fair for several years. She works in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel. In 2004 Marlene and her husband moved back to California and settled in Cherry Valley. She has joined four art groups: The Pass Artists Association, The Desert Art Center, The Banning Center for the Arts and Vision Quest. She has shown and sold her work in...
