I thought the main purpose of putting a photo on canvas was to make it resemble an actual painting. I would have preferred a satin or matt finish. Also, since this was to be a gift, a guide or index that identifies each of the persons illustrated would have been very helpful. I hope these options will be available in the future. D.B.

I love Jan's photographic artistry! She captures her images in such a masterful way. This photo looks great in my house and I am looking forward to adding to the collection. Having grown up in the north woods, I appreciate the Minnesota beauty that she captures so well with her lovely photographs.

Since the 16th century, Portugal extensively adopted slavery to man their colonies, coming mainly from West and Central Africa.
