My dad ordered a custom-built Plymouth in these colors--1955, the first year for two-tone cars as I recall. What a beauty! No seat belts in the back, and that's why coupes were popular. Theoretically the kids would be safer in a coupe, for they couldn't open the doors while the car was moving. Nice capture, Mike. Great memories.

Your right about a metal dash, Mike! Love this image, great editing. v

I can remember! A part of my high school days, Designs like this are missed.....Larry

Cheap, cheap, cheap. Cheap quality, not price.

The material was sent in a bag and was extremely creased

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Got my tapestry from german customs today. I SO love it! Just wonderful to see art that large.

Artist's Description

They don't build them like this anymore! Good thing too, you would break your face on that metal dashboard. When I think of the 50's, this is the item I think about.

About Mike Savad

Scrooge McDuck, a penny pinching miser, that kept to himself most of the time. People around him largely ignored him, unless they wanted something from him. People didn't see him as generous in any way shape or form, he was a business duck and that's it. Then one day he was harassed by former employees, all of which died for unknown reasons. Each one gave him a guilt trip to help others or he may one day become a ghost and have to haunt others similar to himself. Not wanting to have that fate, he gave out his money to everyone. Because in the end he didn't want to be the one guy people spoke badly about, especially in the afterlife. This is a tale of the holidays, a true tale, that if you don't give nice gifts to people, they...
