About Audrie Sumner
Audrie has been drawing as long as she can remember, but only started painting in 1999. She uses mostly oils, but also acrylics at times. She has taken art courses here and there, but her degree is in a totally different arena. She currently is taking art instruction from Bob Travers, at Black Mountain Center for the Arts. Her work can be seen in Asheville, North Carolina at "Woolworth Walk,", one of Asheville largest galleries, in the old Woolworth building on Haywood Street. Her booth is on the lower level,on the right. Audrie paints landscapes, wildlife, and her favorite subject is Western North Carolina. Her photography started as an adjunct to her artwork. She enjoys fishing, because it gets her out of doors..into the mountains...
