I bought this mug for my Daughter Liesel and she's a fan of Clifton Mill. Especially during Christmas! A great mug and it reflects the mill during the holiday season.

This is a great picture. Shout out to John Boyd on his photography. The mig of this however is blurry and I’m disappointed. The original picture is not blurry, so I’m not sure why the print is.

This mug came out great. It’s a gift for my Dad. Thank you John Boyd and fine Arts America.

I love the mug because of the photo, the color I chose and the mug size. The only negatives are that while I knew the photo was small, it's a little too narrow. I have a Marilyn mug that I did not buy online, and it spans the entire mug as two copycat photos. Also, the inside of the mug is not smooth as most mugs are. Otherwise, it's fine, as is its price.

Artist's Description

Carpenters' Hall in Philadelphia is rich in history. It was designed by architect Robert Smith in the Georgian style. It was first used as a meeting site by the guild on January 21, 1771, and would continue to hold annual meetings there until 1777 when the British captured Philadelphia. On April 23, 1773 (St. George's Day.) The First Continental Congress of the United Colonies of North America met here from September 5 to October 26, 1774. The meeting hall served as a hospital for both British and American troops in the Revolutionary War! Other famous institutions met in this building including Franklin's Library Company of Philadelphia, the American Philosophical Society, the First and Second Banks of the United States. It was also robbed of $162,821 in 1798.

About Karen Adams

I majored in Fine Arts at Ohio University in Athens where I concentrated on painting and ceramics. Photography was a hobby I loved, but have still never taken a class. Hopefully, I will get around to that some day! People see beauty everywhere, but most of us are just too busy or stressed to really appreciate or pay attention! Butterflies are gorgeous pieces of artwork fluttering right before our eyes and many times we just don't notice them. At least, that's the way I was until just three years ago. I was helping my...
