My duvet "Abstract Feather " is delightful. It compliments my bedroom and my own art perfectly. The material used is exquisite. Very pleased with my latest purchase from you .

Of course, Jill Barklem's artwork is so amazing! A beautiful way to display more of her lovely Brambly Hedge illustrations is on a duvet! Brambly Hedge has been a very important part of our family for many years. We are grateful for Jill every day. (The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 has nothing to do with the artwork-- I really don't like the fabric that Fine Art America used for the duvet. It feels terrible. I would've liked a nice cotton or flannel.)

Artist's Description

A replica of Michelangelo's "David" stands among palm trees and plants in a courtyard at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota, Florida. Some Ringling Museum docent material states that David was cast in bronze from a mold, made from the real David, made in 1874 as part of a celebration of Michelangelo's 400 year Birthday. Two other "Davids" cast from the same mold have prominent positions - one overlooks Florence in the Piazzale Michelangelo and the other is part of the Vatican Collection in Rome. About Beth Williams

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "The invariable mark of wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common." I have enjoyed seeing the beautiful and the miraculous in common things around me my whole life. I was fortunate to have been brought up in Maine, and to have spent many years living in Rome, Italy. Currently, I live in Florida on the Gulf Coast, and I daily see and try to photograph many of the simple wonders here. Enjoy! Nota bene: the FAA watermark can be removed before purchasing any picture. Please contact me for information. Grazie!
