About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Ad said it has a hanging wire, it doesn’t. Has a big chunk of wood glued to the back with a hanging bracket. Acrylic distorts the picture in my opinion.

This rating is for Fine Art America only. Not the artist. I received this print on acrylic. It shows to have a silver back ground, but it was green-ish in real life. That didn't work for me so I needed to send it back. It cost me $32 to have it shipped, but $96....yes, NINETY SIX dollars to have it sent back. Fine Arts could have had a pre-printed label from their corporate account (like Amazon does) for it to be shipped back and then that ($32) amount deducted from my refund. They did not. So, basically I paid $120 to get a product that did not match the print online. Therefore, I will NEVER shop at Fine Art America again AND will warn everyone I know to beware.

I have seen this in person many times. I thought it would be nice to have a picture of it. I am so glad I got this.

I lived in the area and saw Mt. Rainier often. I used to call it "my" mountain. Now, I have a photo of it to remind me of its beauty.

Artist's Description

Painting inspired by my best friend. This is a painting I did for an art gallery near Liège, Laetitia Gallery. What was sold was used to pay the gallery. It had ended badly with this gallery. A lawyer gave me two tips to choose from: 1. Make legal proceedings but my paintings would have remained in the possession of the gallery throughout the proceedings that could last up to five years. 2. Arriving in the gallery with a friend paracommando, lead me right to my paintings and take everything. I chose the second option. A close friend, brother of my best friend was paracommando and I could always count on him, again thank you to him! Later, I received a letter from the gallery told me that he would sue me because I landed with my band in the gallery! There is obviously nothing happened at justice. After the expedition in the gallery, I invited my friend to choose one of my paintings to thank for helping me. He chose this painting without knowing that it was inspired by his brother. Hu...

About Fabrice Plas

In 1990, I left hopeful the school 75 in Brussels where I took the teaching of Boris Semenoff. I have done exhibitions at galleries, fairs, function rooms .... If I sold some paintings, the gains were used to reimburse the costs. At that time, an art critic told the gallery that exposed my work to put my paintings in an attic for 20 years and present them again. I found it funny at the time but I did not want to wait 20 years. I continued for another 10 years after which I told myself, maybe I would have to reorient my thinking ... So I became software engineer. Eventually my wanderings led me into the offices to make the development of software for calculating salary. There, I realized that it was not my place, and I'm not the only one...
