Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Artist's Description
Cat's Whiskers blossom attracts the attention of a honey bee. I discovered this growing in the Black Pearl Neighborhood of New Orleans, where rich soil deposits from years of pre-levee flooding and a lengthy growing season provide excellent conditions for plants.
Orthosiphon aristatus F. Lamiaceae - also known as Cat's Whiskers, or Java Tea, is a fast growing, perennial bush, 1-2 metres tall, indigenous to south east Asia and Australia’s tropical North Queensland. Multi-branched stems have opposite, ovate leaves to 5cm with fine toothed margins. Terminal flower stems carry whorls of white, two-lipped flowers and protruding purple stamens, which give the flower its characteristic cat’s whiskers appearance.
It has been used successfully in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia for several centuries in the treatment of kidney diseases, urinary stones, rheumatic pains and coughs.
