The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Artist's Description
Originally called Luray Cave, Luray Caverns in Luray, Virginia was discovered in 1878 and is located in Virginia's famous Shenandoah Valley. It is the largest series of caverns in the eastern USA.
This particular photo shows a crystal clear pool reflecting a mirror image of the abundant stalactites hanging from the ceiling. The largest pool in the caverns is no more than 18 - 20 inches deep.
All formations in the caverns are calcite, a crystalline form of limestone and calcite in its purest form is naturally white.
