About Brian Magnier

Brian Magnier

I am an amateur photographer specializing in capturing wildlife and nature. I majored in ecology and evolutionary biology at Cornell University, and have recently finished up a masters degree in Exploration Science at the University of Miami. I enjoy hiking, birding, and scuba diving. I first got involved in photography when I started learning all of the local birds in the north-east. I wanted to see as many as possible and get pictures of them. That passion grew until I had my own digital camera and was capturing the beauty of birds and other creatures everywhere I went. I currently use a Canon 6D SLR with a variety of lenses to focus on everything from landscapes to owls to moose.
