Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Artist's Description
This is the view as one approaches Boulder on Arapahoe Road in Boulder County, Colorado. I have always loved the layered look of the mountains and the snow capped peaks that you can see from a distance. For years I have admired this quaint farm house with the red roof each time I drove by. Only after painting it did I discover the name of the woman who had once lived there....Celeste, so I shall dedicate this painting in honor of her.
About Anne Gifford
Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States. She began her career as a silkscreen artist. After 25 years of printmaking, Anne now works with watercolor, building successive layers of color to create her vibrant, rich, and detailed paintings. She has lived in Colorado since 1976 and finds inspiration in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Her paintings, like a pictorial journal, have chronicled her journey thus far. Oh how lovely this is Anne and what a fascinating story behind it! What is so wonderful about your painting is that it actually also tells a little story with the wash drying on the line on a late spring day. I love the stylized patterns and textures and the drama of the big white flowering tree as it contrasts perfectly against the darker lush greens and is so nicely echoed in the distant snowy mountains.
