Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Artist's Description
This is an abstract piece that I did out of blue and silver. It began life as something else, as many of my abstracts do, but over the process of painting it, somehow it evolved into something that looked to me like change. And then I thought of the Japanese symbols that represent Peace, and this is what happened. Thanks for viewing my work.

ABOUT DANITA COLE - ENCAUSTIC FINE ART PAINTER: I have lived my life upon the Ocean. I am the daughter of a smuggler and grand daughter of a pirate. I raised both my sons aboard my sailboat and chose to paint instead of piracy...mostly. As a member of the Ocean Artists Society, my work is about the Ocean, but also about helping those who are unable to experience the ocean visually. I paint what I see because I want to bring that into someones life, both visually and in a tactile way, even if they cannot see with their eyes. If I can breathe the whisper of a dream into someones life, I feel I have a worthwhile job and am blessed.
