The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This piece took me a good while to complete but when your muse gives you a vision you must honor her. History is full of wars and battles that have to do with religions overtaking different parts of the world and Egypt was no different. This painting symbolizes this fight with both Christian and Muslim warrior fighting the ancient deities Thoth and Anubis who are trying to protect & hold onto their way of life. In the background you can see a Muslim mosque as well as a Christian church even further back in front of the beautiful mountains as this battle wages on.

My name's Mike Sexton. I'm a self-taught digital artist as well as graphic designer so I like to work in many different mediums. I've been sketching,drawing,doodling since I was a little kid but I must confess that I didn't pursue art as a career choice until a few years ago.
