Description
Walking down West Adams a couple of years ago I was taken with the light pole and how the buildings seemed to layer on top of each other. I’ve titled this photograph “Generations” because there are three distinct architectural styles in this photograph. First is the Rookery which is 12 stories and built in 1888. The white building is 208 South LaSalle which is 20 stories and was built in 1914. Finally, the third building is the Sears Tower at 110 stories which was built in 1974.
All proceeds will be donated to Chicago's Cornerstone Community Outreach in honor of photographer Richard Cleis, 1965-2021.
