Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I love this print! Her dress is so pretty and victorian and I can daydream that this is me in another lifetime , contemplating life while visiting the sea

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Just exactly what I was looking for. Next time I’m in SFO, I’ll be sure to wear flowers in my hair! Thank you so much for bringing back all those memories.

Artist's Description
While standing on the Nichols Bridge that leads from Millennium Park to the upper level of the Art Institute, I took this photograph of a few of the Metra/Amtrak trains that serve the South Shore and beyond. It made me think about the time that there was no Millennium Park, and the trains and tracks were a rather unpleasant image visible for all to see. Millennium Park was brilliantly built OVER the train station, and it is at this spot by Monroe Street where the trains still run in and out of their station, now covered by Millennium Park. Visible in the photo is the connection between the new Art Institute and the still operating original Art Institute. A creative filter was applied.
About Greg Thiemeyer
I'm a retired special education teacher currently living in Southwest Michigan, although the majority of my life was spent in the Chicagoland area. Now I spend about half the year (during the Winters, especially) in Southwest Florida. I have enjoyed photography since I was a teenager, and got my first SLR camera at age 20. I spend most of my time taking photos of plants, animal life, and landscapes (especially sunsets) that surround me. Taking trips always offer new and additional opportunities, and these vacations are always a way of increasing my photographic experiences. While I love my photography excursions "in the field," I admit that working on those photos on my computer is enjoyable, as well. I've recently found a new...
