All of your work is outstanding, Betty, but this little bird just caught my eye. My goodness, he is snowy perfection and your composition is just delightful.

Betty LaRue replied:

Thank you so much, Helen. We had a heavy snowstorm, and I had to hang the feeders under the patio cover. This guy was on a snow-covered chair.

beautiful!

Betty LaRue replied:

Thanks a lot, Priska!

Gorgeous little bird. Betty. Mine have all flown south now. '-)

Betty LaRue replied:

Theresa, thank you. We have them 12 months of the year.

Ohmygoodness...another beautiful bird! We have bright gold finches here every summer, but I've never seen one this red and chubby. Lovely portrait!

Betty LaRue replied:

Thank you, Bonnie! The males are dipped in red, the females are just brown striped. We had them all over the place during the snowstorm.
