This is a beautiful painting! The artist knows my husband and we were so excited to bring one of her pieces of art into our home! It's beyond what we expected! It is part of the background when I do virtual meetings (which I am in all day long) and I get so many compliments on how beautiful my "virtual backdrop is". When I tell people that it's my actual office, they always comment on the art!

Love this painting and so many compliments as it's in a treatment room where my husband is a Chiropractor. His patients love it!

The Lion And Lamb painting is absolutely beautiful and very anointed. It speaks such peace to me. We have been furnishing a missionary apartment and as soon as I saw this picture I knew it was the one! I know it will minister to each missionary that stays in our apartment just like it ministers to me.

She is very like my sweet Emma and I bought it in memory of her. Emma's room is now my office but the painting makes clear that it is still, first and foremost, kitty space. This piece comforts my heart every day. Emma has been gone for a year and I miss her incredibly.
Artist's Description
(Copyright Mel Steinhauer all rights reserved) The team dugouts in Major League Baseball are pretty basic and lack many of the comforts for which the players must wait until the game is over. There are no soft couches or big recliners, just a hard wood bench. No refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers or big flat screen tv sets, or anything like that. But the players do have some pretty good seats to watch the game up close, or to study the opposing pitcher in action as they await their turn at bat. There are some bins and shelves to store their favorite bats, batting helmets and things, but that's about it. Cell phones are not allowed but there are some old-fashioned land-line telephones standing by at the ready for emergency situations. Like if the team Manager has to quickly call the Press Box to request a review or playback on the big jumbo screen of a questionable call made by one of the umpires. Or if the pitching staff needs to order a left or right-handed pitcher to start warm...
About Mel Steinhauer
My love for photography began as a boy when I was taught the basics by my father. During a tour of duty with an Army Combat K9 unit in Vietnam, I bought a professional model Nikon SLR camera and dreamed of becoming an artistic photographer when I returned home. A family of my own and a new career put that dream on hold for many years, but I had always enjoyed photography as an art form. Then, after surviving another kind of war with cancer back in 1997, I began to really see the beauty in our world. Ever since then I have been inspired with a new awareness of life and an improved photographic vision. This has compelled me to find beautiful scenes wherever I go and to share my favorite creations with others who may not have the time or...
