Cinnamon Teal (Anas cyanoptera) travel in small flocks made up of male and female pairs. They are very fast flyers and can take off directly from the water. They can be found in shallow ponds, marshes, and lakes with low growing reeds. They breed in western North America from British Columbia to California, Texas and Mexico. Wintering in the southern part of its breeding range. Tucson, AZ.
