Original Title: 233 E. 107th St., N.Y. Rent sign states that these are "Eleganti Apartmenti." License was recently revoked and, after that, our investigator found eight families doing home-work there. It is in miserable shape.

This apartment was filled with people that were dirt poor, all making a small living making things in their house. A series of images were taken for the Child Labor division, because little kids should be playing and not forced to work by their parents. The building owner lost their license to run this place as an apartment, and I think it was because of these images.
However I liked that we are seeing the poor side of this era. Usually you see Victorian ladies in their fine outwear, kids in little hats, all having a fun day out.
