Good quality mug and graphics. Wish the image was not opposite the handle, but 90 degrees away so you could see the turkey while drinking

Artist's Description

Colorized photo from 1890 Original Title: Fraunce's Tavern Location: Manhattan, NY, 54 Pearl St I'm not sure why it bothered me so much, but I really wanted to know when this image was taken. Looking around at the dates of this image, I found years ranging from 1900-1910. Instead I chose 1890, as the building was still in use. By about 1904, the building was bought and then they redid the building and it was opened looking totally different in 1907. The current building standing in this spot today, looks nothing at all like this one. The original image had many very dark shadowed areas, and it was very hard to extract any kind of detail, I just did the best I could of what I thought I saw hidden in there. When I first saw this, I was attracted to the two sailor kids in front of the window, but looking at it now, you can barely see them in there. Oh well.

About Mike Savad

Mikedusa, an unfortunate victim, who just happened to be at the wrong place and the wrong time. It all began with a young attractive lady named Medusa, for not being a loyal goddess, she was cursed to look like a monster. It was a sad story.... But what many people don't know is there was a person named Mikedusa, who just so happened to be in the same area and received the same curse. He used his power differently, instead of turning attackers into stone and having them break. He would turn them into statues, and sell them. With the snake hair slicked back, a nice suit, he would visit galleries showing off his work, so real and life like, is what everyone said. And if there was a critic that didn't like it.... let's just say he was...
