FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
While visiting the famous town of Sleepy Hollow on the border of Tarrytown, New York I went through the famous Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. While I have been here before the cemetery is so large that you don't always get a chance to see all of the interesting people who are buried in this cemetery and what their backgrounds are. On this day in late June several weeks ago I was walking on the side of the cemetery I had not been to before when I so this tremendous memorial statue dedicated to the men and woman who fought and died during the Civil War for the North. The bodies of the people who had fought and died were surrounding this larger then life statue and all gravestone markers were marked with complete details. During this time of the year flags had been put on all of the gravestones. Just looking at how many individuals past away from this small town during the Civil War really put it into perspective how many lives were actually lost during that war.
