Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I love this print! Her dress is so pretty and victorian and I can daydream that this is me in another lifetime , contemplating life while visiting the sea

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Just exactly what I was looking for. Next time I’m in SFO, I’ll be sure to wear flowers in my hair! Thank you so much for bringing back all those memories.

Artist's Description
Social commentary on what civilization is doing to wild places; the wildplaces get overrun with people, their houses, cars and more people until it is no longer a wild place.
Even though this is one of my personal favorites, I do not suggest purchasing this in a smaller size so I am removing the smaller sizes for this piece...this work was not intended to be sold in small format and small does no justice to the large format for which it was intended...The real experience for viewing this is very big!
I get lost looking at it when I put it on the big screen....It's my screen saver for now...so when friends come in and see it on my big screen, they can't stop looking at it.
Anyway, if you don't see the smaller sizes it's because I don't want to see them small anywhere but would love seeing them BIG!
If you would like an even larger size than is offered here, contact me.
Thank you for your comments everyone!

About Afroditi Katsikis
My primary medium is photography and lately have concentrated on nature and the environment as my major subjects. I am deeply concerned about the future health and beauty of this planet we live on and would like to preserve some of it's beauty before it's gone forever. I have a BFA Photography & Printmaking from ASU 1976 where I studied with Eric Kronengold, Bill Smith and Jack Stuler. Before transferring to ASU, I studied with Leslie Krimms, Paul Diamond at Buffalo State College - back in the days when there were no digital cameras and we shot and processed black and white film and printed it! Somehow I wrangled my way into a 'day' job that eventually led me away from my art and or pursuing a career as an artist or photographer...

Afroditi Katsikis replied:
chuckling...This piece is a commentary on how the wild places are becoming used up by people who are killing the planet and all that lives on it.
