Description
This is the fourth Illustration from the yet to be; self-published book, The Leopard & the Clay. Clay weeps with joy at the news that Wind will lift him from his clay-like amorphous state onto legs like the other animals..
The mood is sombre & deep, yet filled with kindness. The softness of formless clay is built up with layers of mustard, magenta, reds & browns to represent a personified human eye. The eyelashes of which are vegetation catching glints of the suns golden rays, as they glisten with moisture & gently release a tear.
