Awesome capture Michael!
Michael Weeks replied:
Thank you Gray. That photo I took with film years ago and owe most of the beauty in the photo to mother nature. That was my first good sea of clouds and I have been chasing it ever since.

Incredible sight Micheal.
Michael Weeks replied:
Thank you William for the positive input. I will have to give most of the credit to mother nature. The fog in the mountains of NC is an astonishing site to see.

Oh my God Michael, incredible. Where were you standing to capture this outstanding shot? Beautiful!!!!!
Michael Weeks replied:
Thank you Robert for the nice comments. I was about half way up the trail on my way to the lookout tower on top of Clingman's dome. If you have not been to Clingman's dome before it is a must. It is the second highest peak in the east, with Mt. Mitchell being the highest. Thanks again Robert and have a good evening.

Beautiful shot, Michael! I am always amazed at how different each visit to Clingman's Dome can be and how quickly conditions can change. This shot shows that perfectly. V-F
Michael Weeks replied:
Thank you Doug for the vote and the kind words! Indeed the conditions change so fast in the mountains and the weather is different around every corner.
Alanna Dumonceaux
great capture! V
Michael Weeks replied:
Thank you Alanna. This is one of my favorite images. I was rushing to get to the top of the lookout tower but kept stopping along the steep trail because there was tremendous fog in every direction. This picture was taken about halfway up the trail. Thanks for the vote as well and have a great day. Michael
