The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

This photograph is taken in Cyclades islands, Greece. I find the architecture fascinating because of the simplicity, the whitewashed walls and the uniqueness. My whole life I am visiting the islands and each summer I discover something new.
The Cycladic architectural style is the result of a response processes in the housing needs of the inhabitants of the Cyclades through the centuries. The form of the houses has been dictated by the climatic conditions. The hot sun, high winds, and sometimes overabundance of light led to the use of small window openings. The islands were faced with security issues due to piracy and because of that, the architecture has got a defensive character.
