My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description
Dahlias are native to Mexico where they have been grown for centuries. From there they made their way to Spain via conquistadors who sent seeds of the flower to Madrid along with other seeds of plants and vegetables they had found growing during their explorations. The dahlia was given its name by botanist and director of the Royal Gardens of Madrid Antonio José Cavanilles, who named the flower after another botanist, Andres Dahl. Dahlias soon spread across Europe and from Mexico to the United States during which time they became an immensely popular garden flower worldwide.
About Thomas J Rhodes
Hello, my name is Thomas J. Rhodes. I am originally from Edina, Minnesota. I moved out to Oregon back in '82 and never looked back. I can't hardly remember a time that I didn't do something with a camera. I began shooting pictures in elementary school. Had a darkroom by Jr. High. Went to photofinishing school after high school and began a career in photofinishing that lasted for nearly 30 years. My idol has always been Ansel Adams. I try to show all that I have learned from such a great master of the black and white image in all my own black and white work. After years of printing other peoples work. I have decided to put out my own. I have thousands of images from all my years and a daunting task at hand to display them all. Oregon Is one...
