I have been following the research into the Shroud of Turin for the last 40 years. I was so happy that Ray Downing made a portrait based upon the Shroud. I was very struck by the beauty and sensitivity of the portrait. I have it hanging in my living room right where I can see it most often every day. I bought the portrait on wood and am very happy with it. Thank you, Mr. Downing, for bringing this to the attention of so many people.

The Sangre de Cristo range of the Rocky Mountains are seen in the distance with cloudy skies, sagebrush, cactus, Juniper trees and desert foliage and wildflowers. Johnathan Harris was born in Arkansas and has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Santa Fe, New Mexico; Sedona, Arizona; Scottsdale, Arizona; Tucson, Arizona; Carmel by the Sea, California, Los Angeles, California; Little Rock, Arkansas and Memphis, Tennessee. He is an increasingly acclaimed contemporary artist producing landscape, abstract and wildlife paintings and working in USA. He is widely known for his highly individual acrylics inspired primarily by the landscapes around the states of New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Wyoming and Montana.
