Artist's Description
This granite bridge is one of the original "Twelve Bridges" that connected Joel Parker Whitney's Spring Valley Ranch with Downtown Rocklin. It was built in 1875 by Chinese masons who helped to build the Transcontinental Railroad. Granite quarried in Rocklin was used to construct the bridges in the English style Whitney loved.
