This lighthouse is built at the mouth of the Savannah River. It was first built in the mid 1800's. It sat right in between the Union Army and Fort Pulaski as they bombarded the fort with canon fire. Miraculously, it survived the battle with minor damage. You can take a hike from the Fort Pulaski National Monument for this view of the lighthouse.

I love making a good landscape, but I also I like photos that see things in different ways � maybe a tight close up or just a different perspective...
