I really love your "Coffee with Andy" Marilyn. I have a weakness for paintings of older folks, especially when they have cup of coffee at hand. Your watercolours are quite remarkable. And thanks for your comments on my "Cat looking in".

Your stepfather must have been very proud to have you paint him. I also love your portraits because they are done in watercolor. They have such a nice touch, and watercolors are not very forgiving. Enjoy your work!

I love this painting....it has so much character and so much soul. Thank you for your comment on Mia's Angel. I can see we both love painting people. My favorites are children and older people......especially if the older people have the heart of a child.

Thankyou, Alan. Like you, I started watercolor late in life... after retirement. I had sketched all my life, so I have a fairly good eye. My forte is portraits, but I haven't posted many to date. I love children, who are so expressive. I think what I do best is to capture an expression or mood of the subject. Marilyn
