Early settler Col. Vance Larmore was instrumental in bringing the railroad to Valley Head, making into the shipping center of the area. The Sequoyah lived in these parts while he was working on his Cherokee syllabary.
Photographer drawn to nature, survivor of polio and breast cancer, expressing gifts in a spiritual and colorful sense providing healing focus for self as well as viewer. Background studies from a quaint art studio in small town Tennessee (oils and acrylics), Accounting at Columbia State Community College, Modeling - print and commercial work in the early 80's, and Real-estate investing of older craftsman style homes in the 90's. Photography is the perfect marriage of nature's endless scenes, aging structures, the wonder of water, and the joy of creating!
