A beautiful reproduction on a heavy, high-quality wood block. The hanging mechanism isn’t too cumbersome as long as you have a level (or a level app on your phone). I prefer the hanging wire approach since it’s a little more forgiving and you can adjust as needed after the fact but this feels sturdy and looks great. I got a wood print from allposters as well, which is cheap particle board with an ugly black border painted around it and doesn’t look nearly as nice as the ones I got from Fine Art America, FWIW.

From an artistic perspective, animals and nature in general were the first things I started drawing from as far back as I can remember. I remember sitting in the garage with my father as a little six year old drawing pictures of the ducks in his field guide books as he carved his decoys. By age seven I knew most every species of duck in North America. Later when I moved to Florida I fell in love with the wildness of the state. I lived in a little trailer out just north of the Everglades near Corkscrew Swamp. It was my paradise.
