He has lived in Appalachian Kentucky and Tennessee, Washington State, California, and eventually in his beloved Colorado, traveled in most other States and the Canadian Rockies, yielding him a tremendous variety of landscape and wildlife to memorialize in his artwork. He became 'family photographer' at a fairly early age, and discovered a bent for painting a little later. It seemed inevitable that he would eventually blend his love of hunting and fishing and camping and hiking and photography and painting....into life-long interests....
