Miguel A. Chavez was born in 1946 in the city of Cordoba, Argentina. Since 1966, he has participated in numerous exhibitions and contests for mural, pavement, and easel painting, both in and out of his home country. Having worked as an actor, writer, director, art instructor, and design consultant, his passion is in painting. A versatile artist, his style has evolved over time through a variety of themes - landscapes and portraits, people and animals, urban and natural, real and imaginary, earthly and heavenly. With a preference for oil on canvas, Chavez has been a celebrated and prolific artist over the last 50 years.
