Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
About Harris Gulko
The paintings of Harris Gulko cut across artistic barriers, displaying many themes: landscapes, seascapes, cloud formations, abstracts, childhood games, beaches, bodies of water, scenic views and more. Born in Toronto in 1927, he has lived in Montreal, Jerusalem, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and currently lives in Dundas, Ontario, He has been asked to do fund raising work to benefit various charitable organizations. He says that painting has changed his life. Often, despite the plan he had when he has started a canvas, it seems the brush takes over, and has a will of its own. He often quotes the artist Gregg Kreutz who wrote: 'I do not have to think I am a great painter, but I need to seek a great painting. Any moment the canvas could come alive...
