Description
"Colourful Simplicity" originated in my mind as a rather curly tree in black silhouette. As soon as the piece began taking shape, I realized that the "black silhouette" just didn't feel right. I knew that I wanted to play around with various types of paper, and, having an abundance of unneeded sheet music lying around, I cut some up into strips and those became the tree. The background was created with acrylic paint and tissue paper, while the rocks are made from newspaper.
