Description
Climate change is impacting the Athabasca Glacier at an astonishing rate. The glacier has receded more than a mile in thirty-five years. It is, for scientists, another canary in the coal mine of Global Warming. The moraines in this picture were not visible just six years ago. The clock is ticking on our environment. Help minimize the releases of CO2 and global warming gases like methane into the atmosphere, and keep our climate from spinning out of control. We just passed 410 parts per million of CO2 in the atmosphere, never seen before by humans on this planet.
