...said the spider to the fly. This is a flower spider or also know as a goldenrod spider. This spider has claimed this daisy as its own. It has spun a web amongst the petals, that is why some are folded back, to catch other insects. I have revisited this same daisy and spider three days in a row now and will continue to do so to see what is going on with it. I love this stuff. I have a few other shots of this spider here as well.

Outside of a brief study in commercial art after graduation from high school, I am self taught. Ever learning and studying that I might realize the depth of the gift God has given me. I have resided in WNY always, and years ago came full circle back to the family farm, that was founded by my mother for advancement of the equestrian arts.
