Description
My husband's ongoing restoration project and a labor of love....."his baby." To be sure, they do not make cars like this anymore with expressive front grills that "speak" to you like in the Disney-Pixar's movie "Cars." This one has seen many highway miles, and if it could speak to you, it might say "Give me an oil change, inflate my tires, give me a good wash and wax,... and then let's hit the open road...." There is a simplistic, timeless, and iconic beauty about classic cars. This Comet takes you back to the early 1960's when according to Flashback 1964, the average yearly income was $5,880, a gallon of gas was 25 cents, a gallon of milk was $1.06, and a loaf of bread was 21 cents. Lyndon B. Johnson was in the White House!
