Bought this for my girlfriend's 50th birthday gift. She LOVES it, both the print and the metal that it is printed on. This is the second art gift I have sent from Fine Art, and both recipients have been super pleased.

This print was a goodbye gift to one of my guards and was excellent quality. Order processing was very easy and the image arrived in good time before my player departed for the US. Excellent service and quality guys, thank you. Cheers Mic

My brother was the astronaut who shot this photo on the STS 58 mission; since he was photographing on behalf of NASA, his name is not directly linked to the photo. He was passionate about mountains, to include climbing. He was featured in National Geographic, noting that their map of Everest allowed him to specifically identify that he had captured the view of K2. It is a nice piece of art in its own right, but the backstory is meaningful to our family and we are glad we could acquire this art. We have bought both an acrylic version and a metal version; both are great mediums for this specific photo.

Photo’s great however for the second time delivery was not. You may want to look at that issue because it’s going to cause me to buy my artwork elsewhwere.

Artist's Description
The words, Comfort those that Mourn, are engraved on the front edge of the old bench.
Where possible I like my paintings to have a happy ending. Comfort those that Mourn, matches a sister painting entitled, Jug not, that ye be not Jugged. The jugs that went off with their spouts in the air, got convicted of their nasty, judgmental attitudes, repented and came back to their former comrade. Now they gather to offer comfort, care and support.
Originally, the two paintings were exhibited as a pair and thus told a story with a happy ending.
The blanket, a crocheted milk jug cover with little glass beads round its edge, is one my mother used when I was a small boy.
Comfort those that Mourn - is not a quote from the Beatitudes. The nearest I could find is, Comfort them which are in any trouble. 2 Corinthians 1 v 4.

About Graham Braddock

Most of my paintings are executed in oils, often over the top of other media. Many are visual stories that contain partially hidden words or imagery where the homespun and the familiar become symbols of timeless truth. My hope is that you will discover additional levels of meaning as you look at the paintings closely. If you get inspired and encouraged by my art- If you can glimpse the great, overarching purpose behind life and creation- If you can catch facets of the wonder and beauty of God's character- If you can begin to see beyond the present- - Then my paintings have succeeded! Bio Notes: Graham Braddock (born in New Zealand, 1942) showed marked artistic ability from early childhood, trained as a graphic artist, then...
