The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

very nice, love the colour not keen on the white tastle border but i like it, i'm going to use it as blanket for my hamock,
The moment when a big game fish, in this case a mature Blue Marlin, fully commits to taking a bait, it is often near enough to the boat that the fish can be seen while still underwater and in nano-second, splits the seas with sword pointed at the heavens, crashing back with thunderclap. My color values were chosen from the thousands of hours I"ve spent beneath the waters of near and distant oceans. This work is 20X16, acrylic and media on stretched canvas.
I'm still learning, transitioning and would never want to fall into the "this is my groove and I'm staying right here". I'm still pleased if something doesn't turn out the way I'd envisioned it - I'm old and relaxed enough now to let the paints flow and try to just gently nudge them around. It's the very evolutionary nature of paint and clay that continues to draw me. I live with my wife outside Charlotte, NC, sharing our home and the Bamboo Pottery Studio with two cats and three dogs,, Callie the Wonder Dog, Brodie the Brash and Nugget the Unsuspecting.. I'm attracted to the plein air work, beach and marine themes, and increasingly, landscapes. I've been a scuba diver for over fifty years, having worked as a commercial...

This painting is inescapable to the eye, Max; the cobalt & varying shades of blue are the bait that draw one in & capture it to explore the depths of this painting - one does not have to be a fisherman to appreciate the beauty of the deep sea here; well done!;))
