Good grocery or farmer's market bag. I feel the artist's name should be displayed on the product.

Good quality, love this print. The artist's name should be included somewhere on the bag.

I love my new bag. It is so beautiful. I work in schools with children who have hearing loss and they love my bag. I get to share information about hearing loss with teachers in the school when they ask about the lovely picture. I also tell them about Ms. Soares. Thanks for sharing her story. It makes the picture even more unique. I had a difficult time choosing from all the options just related to hearing but fell in love with all of her offerings on this site. The quality of the bag is great also.

I purchased this for a gift and the recipient was blown away. The artistry is alive in this bag with Frida. Perfect!

Artist's Description

I created these images using a tablet and several of the many digital painting programs that are available for them. The geometric and non-objective shapes recall artworks by early abstract painters such as Kazimir Malevich, Wassily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrian and Theo Van Doesburg. These fathers of modern abstraction were active in the early 20th century and initiated such movements as Suprematism, Neo Plasticism and De Stijl. Although these images live comfortably alongside traditional abstract and non-objective artworks, they are distinctly "post-modern" in the sense that they were created on a tablet using readily-available painting and drawing apps. They now exist as digital information waiting to be printed using commercial methods such as Giclée or IRIS printing. Put another way, there is NO "authentic original" other than the digital file, which MUST be printed before the work is complete. In this sense, the work can be 'completed' many times, each instance having an equal right...

About Terry Reynoldson

For the best possible result, I recommend printing my color images on Somerset Velvet paper, which is a surface that gives these works an impressive fine art feeling. My black and white images will look best on Cool Tone Picture Rag: a surface that really shows off the subtle variety of tones. The Premium Archival Matte paper is a very nice choice as a lower-cost alternative for any of my artworks. ABOUT ME: I've been making art for thirty years, during which time I've created a wide variety of paintings, sculptures, drawings and performance artworks. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Regina in 1990 and my Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of Calgary in 1995. I've received numerous awards...
