Description
This image, Concorde on Finals, shows Concorde G-BOAG about to perform a low flypast in landing configuration and based on a photo taken at RAF Brize Norton in 1986.
Concorde G-BOAG (Number 214) was assembled and built by BAC Filton (Bristol UK) in 1977 and had its first maiden flight ( as G-BFKW) in 1978.
One of its claim to fames, it performed a flypast with the Red Arrows at the International Air Tattoo in 1985.
In October 2003 it visited Toronto and Dulles airports during the North American farewell tour, with its final commercial flight from New York on 24th October 2003.
It is now in its retirement home in the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
